On Thursday, Dec. 1, the Nether Providence Police Department hosted a Taser Energy Weapon Instructor Course at the Garden City Fire Company.  Officers from departments around the region attended this training, including NPPD Officer Matthew Liss who was re-certified as an instructor, and fellow Officers William Sweeney and Michael Dolan who were both certified as new instructors. 

All three officers will return to the police department and provide continued training to all members of the department.  The Nether Providence Police Department continues to be committed to providing the best training to its officers so they can provide the best public safety service to the community that we serve.
