A sweet visit

Looking handsome in his festive Christmas sweater and Santa hat, Miles Perrotti, 4, dropped off some cookies, sweetening the morning for officers of the Nether Providence Police Department.

“Thank you for all that you do,” read the accompanying note from The Perrotti Family.

Miles even posed with Chief David Splain and Officer Matthew Liss in front of the department’s Christmas tree – trimmed with patches from various police departments.

His mom, Mallory, told the officers that this year Miles asked Santa for the one thing that he thinks would help him grow up to play football like his favorite Eagles team: a mouth guard.

Before leaving the station, Chief Splain gifted Miles with both a Nether Providence Police Department bracelet and honorary “Junior” police badge.
