We have received reports of subjects going door to door saying they are paving contractors.  They are asking to pave or put in a whole new driveway at your residence.  
we remind you that every contractor we’re vendor in the township needs to have a permit through our Township.  They are to have the permit on them and show you upon demand. At this time we do not have any driveway paver were contractors with valid permits in the township. 

The reported subjects were described driving an older white beat up pickup truck occupied by two white males.  The pick up truck has no signs on it describing a business.  Complainants state they had, what sounded like, Irish accents.  
 

Please call 911 if anyone comes to your residence trying to solicit anything without a permit. If you’re unsure and want to check on a permit, you can go to netherprovidence police.org under the “solicitors” tab or call our Township.
