Now that school is back, NPPD reminds you that parking on Maryland Avenue (across from Nether Providence Elementary) is prohibited on the right side of the street (east bound) EVEN when dropping off students.  No parking signs are posted there and have been for years now.  It is very difficult for school buses, ambulances and fire department to get down some of the smaller streets especially when vehicles are parked illegally.  It also makes it more difficult for vehicles operating on the roadway to see children that are walking to and from school.    

Please obey the signs and park only where parking is allowed as officers will ticket those who are parked illegally.  We thank you for your cooperation.
