This morning, the Nether Providence Township Police Department, along with the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Department and the members of The Fallen Heroes Wreath Program, paid our respects to one of our own. Nether Providence Police Detective Sergeant Raymond White died in the line of duty, April 10, 1983.
The purpose of the Fallen Heroes Wreath Program is “to honor the sacrifice made by Law Enforcement Officers who were killed in the line of duty. We produce and place wreaths at the final resting places of Fallen Officers during the winter holiday season.”
Chief David Splain, Traffic Safety Officer Kevin Smith and Sergeant Michael Montgomery were on hand to honor our fallen brother.
