THEFT ALERT!   
Be advised that overnight our surrounding communities were hit by multiple thefts from vehicles and stolen vehicles. This has been an increasing trend in the last couple of months in and around our township.   We ask that you obviously keep your vehicle doors locked. Keep valuables out of your car if possible or, place valuables in the trunk out of sight. Utilize your car alarms as well.

Some of these the thefts were done by the thief entering unlocked residences where they took the car keys to the vehicles parked in the driveway. Keep your homes locked and if you have security cameras please use them.  If you hear or see anything suspicious dial 911 immediately. If your car was broken into or entered report it through 911 so officers can take the report and find out what areas are being affected.
