UPDATE:  Providence Road is now open and Peco has cleared the scene!

We asked that you stay away from the 600 and 500 block of S. Providence Rd.  DO NOT REMOVE THE BARRICADES!  These are there for your safety, the safety of PECO. and emergency responders .  

We will keep you updated when the roadway is deemed passable.

The 500-600 Block of South Providence Road (RT 252) is closed between the entrance to the Spring Haven Country Club and the intersection of Rose Valley Rd/ Meadow Lane.  A large tree has come down across the roadway and pulled down a transformer.
