On February 3, 2023, Upland Anti-Crime Unit officers and Delaware County Narcotics Task Force officers executed an early morning search warrant resulting in the seizure of sizeable quantities of heroin, cocaine, marijuana and prescription pills as well as over $31,000 in U.S. currency, a sawed off shotgun and ammunition in addition to large quantities of packaging materials, scales, communication devices and other narcotics related paraphernalia.  In addition to the above, investigators seized two vehicles associated with this investigation with the assistance of Folcroft Borough Police K9 handler Gene Mackey and  K9 Astor.

Arrested as a result of the investigation was Anthony Stone, 38, of the 500 block of 3rd Street Upland, PA.  Stone, on Pennsylvania State Parole for a conviction on attempted murder and related charges,  was charged with various weapons and drug charges.

This ongoing investigation is being conducted by Upland Borough Police Anti Crime Unit Officers Jonathan Keeney and Spencer Ellers and additional arrests are expected.
