Upland Borough Police Department K9 Officer Ryan Canzanese and his partner Raymond as well as Officer Matthew Elliott are assigned to the Central Delaware County Emergency Response Team which is a multi-jurisdictional team on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  The Central Delaware County ERT is made up of specially trained police officers and medics who provide a tactical response to incidents involving terrorism, hostage situations, barricaded suspects and crowd control (during civil disturbances). The ERT is also utilized to assist with apprehending wanted high risk criminals who pose significant risks to the community.
