Today marked a special occasion for all of us at The Upland Borough Police Department as we finally had the opportunity to welcome and meet Alex Mann as he continues his quest to spread autism awareness to police departments near and far.

To date Alex has visited one hundred and two agencies giving police officers the opportunity to speak with him and dispel and notions that they may have once had about dealing with someone with a disability.

The department presented Alex with a plaque commemorating his visit and thanking him for his continued efforts to teach others about autism.
