On March 30th 2023 the Folcroft Police along with members of the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, Criminal Investigation Division arrested a LOURDES FERNANDEZ-SUERO for Receiving Stolen Property, Theft of Mislaid Property, and Criminal Use of  Communication Device.

A victim in California received a phone call stating that a family member was involved in a vehicle accident  and that they would need to overnight cash for bail money to an address in Folcroft.  Police set up surveillance in the area and were able to arrest FERNANDEZ-SUERO who took the package from the steps of a resident who had no knowledge that their address was being used to receive this package.

Police are happy to be able to return a large amount of money that the victim was scammed out of.
