On January 12th, 2024 the Delaware County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #27 recognized two of Darby Township's Police officers at their annual awards ceremony.

• Patrolman Sarita Paul was recognized for her life-saving actions that occurred on June 28th, 2023 when she successfully resuscitated a 10 month old drowning victim.

• Corporal Detective Lance Csanady was recognized for his joint investigation efforts of a fatal hit and run accident of a pedestrian that occurred on August 26th, 2023.

The Darby Township Police Department would like to congratulate both officers on a job well done and thank them for their dedicated service to the community.
