On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, Officer John Monroe and Officer Mark Tuttle were sworn in by the Honorable District Judge Steven Sandone as the newest full-time officers with the Darby Township Police Department.

Officer Monroe has served with our department as a part-time officer since May of 2018. Prior to joining our department, Officer Monroe served with the Temple University Police Department and the Delaware County Sheriff's Office. He is also a 2006 graduate of Edward BOK Vocational High School.

Prior to joining our department, Officer Tuttle served as a part-time officer with the Folcroft Borough Police Department for approximately four years. He is a 2012 graduate of Ridley High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Temple University in 2017.
