After a four-month-long investigation conducted by the Upper Chichester Township Police Criminal Investigations Unit, Robert Norbel O'Boyle (77 years of age) of Frankford, Delaware was arrested at his home on January 9, 2025, with the assistance of the Delaware State Police. Six victims over a span of five decades contacted the Upper Chichester Township Police alleging crimes that occurred in Upper Chichester Township of Indecent assault on a person less than thirteen years of age, unlawful contact with a minor, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors and indecent exposure. All victims were juveniles during the time of the incidents. The statute of limitations had passed for four of the victims, however, charges were approved by a Delaware County Deputy District Attorney for two of the victims. 

O'Boyle was arraigned by a Delaware Judge, and bail was set at $50,000 cash bail. O'Boyle was transferred to SCI Sussex Correctional Institution to be held pending extradition back to Pennsylvania to answer to these charges.
