Police Urge Drivers to Celebrate Responsibly

Upland Borough, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Upland Borough Police Department and Southern Delaware County Task Force will conduct impaired driving enforcement operations from August 7, 2022 through August 28, 2022.

The Southern Delaware County Task Force is comprised of the following police departments:

Chester City, Upland, Bethel Township, Glenolden Borough, Chester Township, Aston Township, Ridley Township, Collingdale Borough, Eddystone Borough, Sharon Hill Borough and Upper Providence Township

The task force is committed to reducing the number of impaired driving crashes, injuries, and fatalities in Delaware County.

The operations are funded in part by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s statewide distribution of federal funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
