Traffic Stop leads to Drugs, loaded Gun.
On Saturday September 21st 2024 the Sharon Hill Borough Police Department Patrol Division performed a traffic stop in the 200 block of Greenwood Rd. As Officers were conducting their investigation a female later identified as Julina Hernandez-Thomas exited the vehicle and tossed a backpack into a resident’s front yard. The backpack was later recovered and located inside was a large amount of narcotics and a loaded 9MM handgun.
On Wednesday December 4th 2024 a preliminary hearing was held in front of Judge Forbes and all charges were held over to the court of common pleas on Hernandez-Thomas
The operator of the vehicle 25 year old Darius Wrenn fled on foot during the traffic stop and is currently wanted by law enforcement.
