On Friday, February 28, 2020, at approximately 1:30 AM, the victim was approached at Harrah’s Casino (Chester City) by an acquaintance DARNEL LAMAR GOLSON. According to the victim, he was familiar with GOLSON because they had both spent time together at Delaware County Prison as well as State Prison. After some conversation, the victim offered to sell GOLSON a 14 K gold chain link necklace. The victim then drove both of them to his residence (1200 Block of Haverford Rd – Crum Lynne) where the necklace was located.
Upon arrival, the two went inside the residence to negotiate the price of the 14 K gold chain link necklace. While inside the residence, GOLSON inquired about an Xbox game console. Once they agreed upon a price, GOLSON pulled out a silver revolver and said, “How about I just take it?” At which point, GOLSON gathered; two gold chains, the Xbox game console along with five games and one paddle. GOLSON then demanded the victim to drive him back to Harrah’s Casino.
Once they arrived back at the casino, the victim was instructed to drop GOLSON off at his Mercedes while being held at gun point. The victim complied and returned to his residence at 3:16 AM and notified the police. GOLSON was last seen leaving Harrah’s parking garage on Friday, February 28, 2020, at 2:00 AM, in a Silver Mercedes SUV PA Lic# KZZ-8739. GOLSON is considered armed and dangerous.
