Case

On Saturday, July 6, 2019, at approximately 5:45 PM, The Ridley Township Police received a call in reference to a theft which occurred in the 100 Block of Balignac Ave (Woodlyn section of Ridley Township).  Upon arrival, officers were advised that a white male (depicted in surveillance videos/photos) had stolen a “Little Giant Ladder” valued at $500.

The male suspect shown in the surveillance video/photographs was observed in the area in a blue color Ford Taurus sedan (appears to be a model between 2000 -2007).  The male pulled up to a residence on Balignac Ave and is observed going on to the property.  During the course of the theft, the home owner exited the house and attempted to stop the vehicle from driving away. The homeowner sustained damaged to his hand and the vehicle ran over his foot causing injuries.

The surveillance footage is in the process of being forensically enhanced to obtain any further pertinent information.  In the meantime, if anyone can identify the male suspect or his vehicle, please contact the Ridley Detectives at 610-532-4002 or email ridleydetectives@ridleytwp.org or simply leave a tip on CRIMEWATCH.  At this point, the white male is strongly advised to turn himself in.
