On April 17, 2019, at approximately 9:28 AM, a Ridley Township Police Officer was flagged down by a WAWA employee in reference to a theft. According to the WAWA employee, a white male entered the store and stole a couple cases of Red Bull. The employee attempted to give chase as the male got into the passenger side of a vehicle and fled the area.
The surveillance system captured the incident. A dark colored sport utility vehicle, possibly a Jeep, pulled up on the Bullen’s Lane side of the store. A middle aged white male then exited the front passenger side of the vehicle and entered the store. The white male then gathered several cases of Red Bull, exited the store and fled the area in the unknown SUV.
On April 25, 2019, at approximately 9:28 AM, the Ridley Township Police received a call in reference to a theft that occurred at 1920 W. MacDade Blvd (WAWA). Upon arrival, employees advised that a white male entered the store via the front door and stole three or four packs of Red Bull. As the offender exited the store, an employee attempted to stop him but the thief jumped into the passenger side of a small silver sedan and fled the area.
According to WAWA Loss Prevention, the same subject committed similar thefts in The State of Delaware. Anyone who knows the identity of the thief or get away drivers please contact The Ridley Township Detectives at (610)532-4002 or simply submit a tip on Crimewatch.
