On Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 11:31 PM, Acting Corporal Joseph Zielke observed a wanted subject in the WAWA (MacDade Blvd @ Route 420). ALYSSA RHODES had an active county bench warrant. Acting Corporal Zielke observed RHODES exit the store and enter a grey KIA.
Once a police car blocked in the KIA, RHODES attempted to run back into the store unsuccessfully. A very brief foot pursuit resulted with RHODES in hand cuffs. Prior to the vehicle being impounded, an inventory search was conducted. In plain view, a used syringe was located on the back driver’s side floor. Furthermore, other drug paraphernalia (blue wax paper, orange needle caps) were located inside the vehicle.
Once at police headquarters, a female officer conducted a custodial search. The custodial search revealed several suspicious substances. According to RHODES, the substances were Ketamine as well as Fetanyl. The specimens were collected and will be transferred to the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Laboratory for forensic analysis. RHODES was processed and charged accordingly.
