On Thursday, April 11, 2019, at approximately 1225 hours, Ridley Township Police were in the area of 405 E. MacDade Blvd (Folsom) and observed a wanted subject (Arnold Kirksey) in the drive-thru. When police attempted to conduct a traffic stop, ARNOLD KIRKSEY fled westbound on MacDade Blvd in a Maroon Chrysler 200. During the pursuit, KIRKSEY exceeded the posted speed limit (35 MPH), traveled through steady red traffic signals, and travelled in the oncoming travel lane.
Eventually, KIRKSEY bailed out of the vehicle, while it was still in motion, in the 2000 Block of Madison Street in the City of Chester. The vehicle continued onward and struck a residence. Officers then pursued KIRKSEY on foot. At this time, a black female exited the passenger side of the vehicle and fled the scene. Her identity and whereabouts are unknown. KIRKSEY was subsequently apprehended in the vicinity of Upland & E. 20th Street. In his possession were two clear plastic sandwich bags of marijuana. The evidence was seized and transferred to The Pennsylvania State Police Crime Laboratory for forensic analysis. KIRKSEY was charged accordingly.
