UPDATE: The roadway is now open
 

Be advised Turner Road between Knoll Rd  Road and Pembroke Rd. is temporarily closed due to a large tree down across the roadway. Highway department is on the way to remove.  We will update as soon as the roadway is open.

Planning Ahead

Police Chief David Splain was in attendance Tuesday at the township’s Comprehensive Plan meeting, which drew more than 60 residents to the Wallingford Elementary School.

“I was pleased to hear so many positive things about the police department,” Chief Splain said.

The three-hour forum was hosted by township leaders, including Commissioners Matthew Garson, Marty Molloy, and Shaina Barnes; Township Manager Dave Grady; Public Works Director Darryl Dixon; and other township administrative staff.

Lockdown Lifted!

Nether Providence Twp. Police now have a subject in custody at the Strath Haven high school. The lockdown is now lifted. There is no danger to the students or the public at this time.
