Rest in Peace Brother

A somber day for law enforcement in Philadelphia, as officers from near and far joined family and friends of slain Temple University Police Officer Christopher Fitzgerald, who was posthumously promoted to Sergeant, to say a final goodbye.
Among the procession of brothers and sisters in blue at Officer Fitzgerald’s funeral are Chief David Splain, Traffic Officer Kevin Smith and Patrol Officer Jordan Culbreath of the Nether Providence Township Police Department.
Following a viewing and Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, the married father of four will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Cemetery in Huntingdon Valley.
