October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  The officers and staff of the Marple Township Police are wearing their purple ribbons and proud to partner with the Delaware County Domestic Abuse Project to bring awareness to domestic violence.

Domestic violence is prevalent in every city, town, and neighborhood – unfortunately, some cases involve deadly acts of abuse. Before many of those crimes, there were warning signs – an intervention could have saved a life.

If you are a victim and are in need of help you can reach out to the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County at 610-565-6272 or call the 24/7 Crisis Hotline at 610-565-4590.
