On Wednesday May 8th, at approximately 5:27am, members of the Lower Chichester Township Police Department, as well as assisting Officers from Upper Chichester Township, as well as Trainer Borough conducted an organized traffic stop in order to serve two high risk Felony warrants. Both warrants were successfully served. One of the actors, Robert J. Gannon was taken into custody on allegations, stemming from an incident that had occurred on Friday December 29th, 2023.
During that incident, Officers and medics were dispatched to the 300 block of Melling Avenue for a gunshot victim, who was reported to have been bleeding from the head. Officers arrived on location to find a juvenile bleeding profusely. While on scene, responding Officers learned that the victim had not been shot, but had been "pistol whipped," The victim indicated who the actor was, and described the location of the actual incident as West Ridge Rd and Bradley St in Linwood. The victim was subsequently transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Through the investigation, Officers learned that not only was the victim attacked, but also chased to the Melling Avenue address by the actors. When family members rushed outside, the two actors had fled in a silver vehicle, while pointing firearms at the witnesses standing by.
With the assistance of some of the residents in the area, and the submissions of their surveillance footage, Officers were able to watch the incident unfold, showing the victim originally walking west on West Ridge Rd. The two actors, Robert Gannon and his co-conspirator are seen traveling east in a silver Ford Focus, passing the victim. The driver of the vehicle executes a U-turn at Hewes Avenue and slowly follows the victim. As the victim reached Bradley St, the driver accelerates around the corner. Gannon is observed exiting the vehicle and rushing towards the victim. The driver is also observed exiting the vehicle. Other footage shows Gannon pursuing the victim north on Bradley Street while shouting "I'M GOING TO SMOKE YOU WHEN I CATH YOU."
Subsequently, arrest warrants were issued for both parties.
