Last week concluded a multi-agency narcotics investigation into Marcus Harris who had been transporting and distributing methamphetamine within Delaware County and the City of Philadelphia. Harris was taken into police custody on December 13, 2022. As a result of this investigation, police seized 4.25 pounds of methamphetamine and two (2) firearms. One of those firearms was possessed by Harris who is deemed a person not to possess a firearm in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania due to his criminal record.
This investigation was conducted by a detective with the Darby Township Police Department (who is also a member of the Delaware County Drug Task Force) in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Police and members of the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division.
Harris was arraigned by the Honorable District Judge Lang. After his arraignment, Harris was transported to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility where he will await his preliminary hearing.
